Another option is to buy a "Ready Made Company" sometimes called an "Off The Shelf Company". Although purchasing this type of company can be the fastest way to obtain a company number, the company will already have the share structure in place. Changing this structure will be a slow process and significantly more expensive than setting up a limited company to your exact requirements in the first instance.
